I am a lifelong resident of Emmaus, the son of former Mayor and Tax Collector, Theodore “Ted” Iobst, Sr., and a descendant of the Borough’s first Burgess, Frederick T. Iobst, in 1859. My father and I served Emmaus residents for 41 years as owners and operators of a dairy and baked goods delivery business. As a father of three former Emmaus High School student-athletes, I was involved with the school’s Adult Booster Club before becoming a founding member and President of the Green Hornets Touchdown Club.

I am a school crossing guard for Emmaus elementary schools for 20 years and I am an active member of Saint Matthew’s E. C. Church in Emmaus. Eight years ago I worked to install the DARE Program, a drug awareness program (DARE) established in our schools to provide a better education and understanding between parents, students and the Emmaus Police Department with issues that confront today’s youth.

I look forward to my interactions with the people of Emmaus and am proud of my job and our town.
