Coronavirus Update – Borough Offices Closed to the Public

March 17, 2020

Like you, all of us at the Borough of Emmaus are responding to the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

Due to concerns with the spread of the virus, and per the recommendation of Governor Wolf, the Borough of Emmaus is closing all offices to the public. Offices will remain open, however, all correspondence with Borough staff shall be through telephone, mail, and email.

Citizens will be able to drop items off in the vestibule areas at Town Hall, such as bill payments, building plans, and other correspondence. You will also be able to pay your water, sewer, or refuse bills by using the Borough’s online Xpress Bill Pay or by calling the Billing Clerk at Town Hall.

All of our operations will remain fully staffed and functioning, however, we will be modifying out approach to services, including public meetings. We will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you updated through our website and Facebook page.

We encourage you to follow Governor Wolf’s website as well as the CDC website for more information regarding the virus and precautions you can take to try to prevent the spread of it.
