Dumpster Day

August 30, 2019

Saturday, October 5th from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Emmaus Fire Training Grounds off Klines Lane

On Saturday, October 5th, the Borough will be hosting its inaugural Dumpster Day and Household Hazardous Waste Event at the Emmaus Compost Site.  The event is designed for residents (Borough Residents Only – ID’s will be checked at the gate) to bring items to the Borough Recycling Center that are difficult to dispose of.  It’s an opportunity for you to do some fall housecleaning and get rid of some of those items that you just don’t know what to do with. This event is open to BOROUGH RESIDENTS ONLY

The cost is already incorporated into your refuse bill.  However, there is a cost to some items.  The cost to dispose of tires shall be $2.00 per tire.  Car batteries or other larger batteries will cost $5.00 per battery.  The cost to remove Freon from your refrigerator, a dehumidifier, air conditioner, or other items that contain Freon will be $25 per item.
