Property Taxes And Business Privilege Taxes
The Borough of Emmaus Tax Collector is an elected position with an office located in Borough Hall. The tax collector collects property taxes for both the Borough of Emmaus as well as the East Penn School District. The Borough has also hired the tax collector to collect the Business Privilege Tax.

Office Hours – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday,
closes from noon – 1 pm for lunch. Additionally, the office will be open every weekday for the last two weeks of May, July, August, and December. Other times are by appointment. The office does not close for lunch. There are times when the office will experience an unscheduled closing for duties such as going to the bank or the courthouse. Feel free to call the Tax Office if you want to be sure the Tax or Deputy Tax Collector is in.
LST, Earned Income, And Per Capita Taxes
The County of Lehigh has elected to hire Berkheimer Tax Administrators for the collection of LST, Earned Income, and other wage taxes. In addition, the Borough of Emmaus also elected to hire Berkheimer for the collection of Per Capita Taxes in the Borough. Current Per Capita Taxes can be mailed to:
